Federal-Mogul Motorparts Increases Heavy-Duty Product Offerings, Offers Garage Rewards Loyalty Programs

In 2017, Company’s Commercial Vehicles business unit introduced new products from its Abex^®, ANCO^®, FP Diesel^® and Wagner^® brands; launched new Garage Rewards programs

Southfield, Michigan, December 22, 2017… Throughout 2017, Federal-Mogul Motorparts has introduced an expanded product portfolio for the heavy-duty market to meet the growing needs of the commercial vehicle industry.  New CV products from its leading brands such as Abex^®, ANCO^®, FP Diesel^® and Wagner^® have been launched, giving fleets and HD technicians more options for reliable, quality replacement products.  Federal-Mogul Motorparts is also expanding its loyalty programs to reward those technicians who work on heavy-duty vehicles.

Some notable new repair offerings include:

Abex Reduced Stopping Distance (RSD) Brake Linings
Abex RSD-certified commercial grade friction linings (Abex RX 6297) include a new lining that exceeds both the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) 121 RSD requirement and OE brake manufacturer standard for 23,000-pound tractor applications. The lining is highly advanced, copper-free, and crack-resistant, engineered to help maintain like-new braking performance while experiencing minimal swell and growth.

Abex Air Disc Brakes
Abex ADBHD1369, the most popular air disc brake application in North America, is equipped with OE-style green coat stripes, which provide consistent performance both out of the box and throughout the life of the pad.  It also conforms to 2025 copper-free requirements of less than 0.05 percent by weight, with no copper added to this advanced OE-quality formulation. 

FP Diesel Security Packaging
FP Diesel cartons include automated authentication package labels, offering an easy way to confirm that the product is genuine anywhere in the world.  Known as SmartAuthentication™, this track-and-trace feature uses the product’s serial number to locate it along the distribution channel, while a mobile app enables customs officials to quickly and easily authenticate each product. (Apps are available for download for Android, Apple, Blackberry and Windows devices).

ANCO HD Wiper Blades
ANCO has introduced 14 new SKUs for a variety of sizes and applications, featuring exclusive DuraKlear^® HD – a robust durable element designed for heavy-duty use.  They are also designed with a heavy-duty bridge design for improved mechanical strength.  Offering four layers of corrosion protection – galvanized structural steel, phosphate coating, E-coat and top coat - these blades also incorporate a tall wiper element and stainless-steel flexors to offer premium quality.  Saddle, hook and side pin adaptors are included in each package to accommodate most any connection. 

Wagner LongLife HD Lamps, Miniature Lamps and Sealed Beam Headlamps 
Wagner LongLife HD lamps include several features ideally suited to commercial vehicles, with extra-strength filaments.  Many also feature a patented fifth lead support wire to further enhance durability and vehicle uptime.  Each LongLife HD miniature lamp is charged with a premium Krypton gas mixture that helps enhance filament life and provides a purer, whiter light than standard incandescent lamps, while LongLife HD sealed beam headlamps feature impact-resistant quartz glass and a ruggedized lamp housing to resist shock, vibration and damage caused by road debris. 

Garage Reward Loyalty Programs
